Me

My name is Taylor Niles. I've moved a lot in my life, living in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Switzerland and Vietnam during my primary and secondary school years. Now, I live in South Carolina and am in my second year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of South Carolina.  I got my Bachelors in Athletic training and Exercise Science from the University of Georgia. I've had undergraduate clinical rotations at a local high school, UGA Women's Basketball and Soccer, and UGA Spring Football. My first year as a graduate assistant I was working as the head athletic trainer at Calhoun Academy, now I work as the head athletic trainer for Northside Christian Academy. My ideal job as an athletic trainer would be to work at an international high school in Europe or Asia.

 

I have a lot of passions and hobbies not related to Athletic training. In the past year I have learned some basic embroidery skills which I have used to customize sweaters and t-shirts. I love watching anime and movies, and have learned how to paint characters on glass thanks to tiktok. I enjoy reading and am currently working to read all of Stephen Kings' novels. My favourite sports are basketball and snowboarding. I played basketball since I was 9 years old and  I learned how to snowboard in 7th grade after moving to Switzerland. I plan to become a certified snowboard instructor in my lifetime and work some winter seasons at different resorts around the world.
